You gave Your life so I could see

All my life I was looking for the truth
My searching stopped as soon as I found You, my dreams came true
And it amazes me to think anyone could hate You
But You smiled when they did You wrong, I could never repay You
You showed me the greatest love no one can compare
Wrapped me in Your arms when I fell and showed me You cared
You didn't even need a cape, You just came to my rescue
So I lift my hands in worship, God I bless You
I'll proclaim Your name to the nations give You my all
I'm confident in Your word, in You I stand tall
This is me saying thanks for everything that You do
The greatest story ever told to me
And there's no greater love than the one You've shown me
So I bow down humbly before You at Your feet
Repenting from my past I pray You forgive me
I took Your sacrifice for granted, I don't deserve to see this day
And if it wasn't for Your grace
I'd be laying 6 feet in my grave
But you didn't see fit, You allowed me to see this
Your love is in my blood now Jesus I believe it.
